Add. information:
IK Multimedia has released the AmpliTube Metal plug-in, which simulates the operation of a distortion pedal and power amp. This is the first software module designed specifically for heavy metal guitarists, covering all known pedal models from the late 70’s. AmpliTube Metal emulates seven popular distortion pedals, five metal effect pedals, four amp heads and eight cabinets. In addition, AmpliTube Metal offers a large number of built-in rack effects, a digital tuner and a Speed Trainer system that makes fast passages easy to learn. The plug-in works on the basis of DSM (Dynamic Saturation Modeling) technology and is released as a software module in VST, AU and RTAS formats, and can also be used as a stand-alone application on computers running Mac OS X or Windows XP / Vista.
