Description: Discreet compression is the cornerstone of any mastering compressor. Subtlety is necessary to preserve all existing nuances in the mix, while compression itself is necessary to make the mix sound homogeneous with other tracks and, in addition, to make the sound more dense.
Voxengo Polysquasher was created with this in mind. It offers compression with a high level of control and a minimum of user-editable parameters. The effect of such compression can be disorienting at first, because it differs significantly from other compressors.
