Description: Celemony has released a new version of Melodyne Editor, which is available right now. Melodyne editor is the first product to use the patented DNA Direct Note Access technology.
The update improves sound quality, software reliability and performance, optimizes many features, and fixes a number of bugs. Optimization of the new version has reduced the memory requirements of Melodyne Editor and allows for smoother and more reliable operation, while the interface has been refined to make the program even more enjoyable.

This is confirmed by Andrew Scheps, Engineer / Mixer, who has worked with Metallica, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Johnny Cash. He is a member of the Celemony team. The import function in Melodyne editor has been improved to provide more accurate metrics.

Literally Direct Note Access or abbreviated as DNA, it translates as direct access to the note, this name reflects the essence of the technology – you have the opportunity to edit individual notes of the played chord as if it were midi, the program automatically decomposes the chord into notes. It becomes possible to edit the pitch of individual notes, their duration, shift them relative to each other, change the volume, vibrato, everything that was previously available in Melodyne. Now it is possible to correct all the slightest inaccuracies made by the musician when recording the instrument, or create a completely different part based on the already recorded one.
