The second version of the virtual sampler MachFive has unlimited multitimbrality (it is possible to save multi-settings), an unlimited number of keyboard groups and layers, various ways of switching layers (by MIDI messages, alternatively, randomly, etc.), support for up to 256 MIDI channels (up to 64 in offline) and up to 200 audio outputs. The effects processor has 47 algorithms (from convolutional reverb to multiband processors and amp simulators), it is possible to save settings (including for four effects simultaneously). There is a mixer with functions for adjusting the level and panning, selecting audio outputs and MIDI inputs, and controlling effects.

The sampler has a 32-bit audio core, 16-part multitimbrality, unlimited polyphony, eight types of filters, three envelopes, four LFOs, four insert and four general effects per patch plus four general effects and four master effects (algorithms: reverb, delay, tremolo, chorus, filter, etc.). It is possible to read samples from disk, edit samples, automatically distribute samples when importing, control parameters via MIDI, synchronize LFOs and effects with tempo, save effect settings with patch and performance, import WAV / Acid, AIFF, SDII, REX 1 and 2. The supplied UVI-Xtract utility allows you to listen to and import patches and samples of Akai (S1000 / 3000, S5000 / 6000, MPC 2000/3000), Kurzweil (K2xxx), Emu (III, ESI, IV, EOS), Roland (S7xx ), Sample Cell, Kontakt, EXS24, GigaSampler / GigaStudio, CreamWare STS.
