IK Multimedia and Sonic Reality have released the Sonik Synth 2 virtual workstation with over 5000 sounds in an 8GB sound library. The library includes samples of all types of synthesis, classic analog synthesizers, all kinds of live instruments and voices, as well as standard workstation sound sets – pads, leads, bass, electronic drums, percussion and effects. Among other things, Sonik Synth 2 includes a 152 megabyte set of concert grand piano sounds sampled at 3 dynamic levels. Sonik Synth 2 Features: 16-timbre, sample-based virtual synthesizer station. Over 5000 sounds in an 8GB library on two DVDs. 32 built-in effects – 5 per instrument. The largest collection of classic synths ever included in a single product. In terms of sound capabilities, the instrument is several times superior to any of the best hardware workstations.
