Description: Bass Rider is a new plug-in from Waves, another simple instrument with several knobs for automatic bass level control.
A companion to the popular Vocal Rider plug-in, Bass Rider creates the ideal bass level without altering the original sound. Optimized specifically for the frequency range and amplitude characteristics of bass instruments, the Bass Rider handles any bass with ease: synthetic, boosted, acoustic, etc.
This is the so-called “time saver” – the Bass Rider evens out the level and density of the bass throughout the mix. Unlike compressors, the plug-in works with every note without disturbing their internal dynamics, which allows them to sound more natural than using a compressor.
