The Skiddaw Stones is probably the most unusual and by far the oldest instrument that Soniccouture has sampled. The Skiddaw Stones – lithophone (litho = stone, phone = voice) dating from 1840, consists of 61 cut and matched slabs of a rare rock found in Cumbria, England.
