Description: Kontakt is the standard in the world of samplers. Native Instruments Kontakt 5 provides a range of high quality filters ranging from classic analog circuits and variable state models to modern formatted filters. Some of the 37 new filters use the new Adaptive Resonance concept, which automatically controls filter characteristics to prevent unpleasant audio artifacts from excessive resonance peaks. The fifth version of the sampler also adds TimeMachine Pro time scratching, which provides better sound quality for harmony solo instruments.
The effects section in Native Instruments Kontakt 5 has been expanded with several key additions that focus on studio-style audio processing. New algorithms Solid G-EQ and Solid Bus Comp, borrowed from the Solid Mix Series, allow for alignment and compression, and the optional Transient Designer has been integrated into the Kontakt effects section in its original form. In addition, the new analog Tape Saturator can add natural compression and subtle organic overdrive, and vintage sampling modes taken from the Native Instruments Maschine groove machine have been integrated into the Native Instruments Kontakt 5 feature set.
For sound designers and professional samplers, Native Instruments Kontakt 5 offers a new instrument bus system and MIDI file support based on KSP. 16 internal stereo buses with their individual on-board slots provide increased routing flexibility, the Kontakt Script Processor’s MIDI file function allows you to create advanced instrument-based instrument types with versatile integrated MIDI playback functionality.

At the request of some members of the forum, just in case (as a last resort), the installer of version 5.1.0 from the distribution of NI Komplete 9 Ultimate has been added. The correct name has been assigned to the folder with the installer version 5.2.1 (“NI Kontakt 5.2.1 INSTALL” instead of the erroneous “NI Kontakt 5.2.0 INSTALL”). The last installer was tested again on a virtual machine with Window 7 x64 Ultimate – everything installs without problems, starts without problems. After installing version 5.2.1, update 5.4.2 was immediately applied. Again, everything was installed and started without any visible bugs. If you still don’t succeed, try different options, in the distribution there are different versions of installers and update packages, something should definitely work. Among more than 2,000 who have already downloaded, no more than 10 complain about installation and launch bugs, which means the problem is with your computer or OS, and not with the distribution. Installation: You can install from scratch (NI Kontakt 5.2.1 INSTALL folder), or immediately apply update 5.4.2 (NI Kontakt 5.4.2 folder), which is usually installed without problems
since version 5.2.1. If something does not work out for you, try to apply the updates sequentially (the distribution contains all updates from 5.3.1 to 5.4.2, just in case, but
usually it is enough to download and install only the latest 5.4.2)
