The Dutch DJ / producer announced this week that he has completed development of a new Kickstart plug-in that can be used as sidechain compresses akin to Dada Life’s Sausage Fattener distortion. While the Kickstart idea is far from revolutionary, the plugin offers 16 easy-to-use modulating curves and clean / dirty control in the mix, which can be useful enough for budding producers to understand the concept of how the effect works.
