Description: An innovative, award-winning Phase Interactions Mixer in plugin format for Mac and PC. The plugin aims to improve the summing of your sequencer and mixer. Pi dynamically reduces mutual subtraction of frequencies between instruments within a mix, improves mono compatibility, and regains lost depth and focus as a result of frequency conflicts. Good phase relationships between tracks in a mixer are the foundation of a great-sounding mix. Typically, when summing mixer channels into a single stereo mix bus, the instruments overlap and interact with each other across the entire frequency range and phase position. Often, a bass track may temporarily be out of phase with a kick or rhythm guitar, and when added into a mix, this will result in them subtracting each other, in the frequency range where they intersect, which in turn leads to a temporary “hole” in the low-frequency spectrum. Likewise, a snare drum can end up sounding flat in a mix if the toms resonate with it out of phase. Designed to enhance any mix, the Pi dynamically rotates the phase of the individual channels in the mixer to maximize phase correlation within the mix. The plugin minimizes negative interactions and dramatically improves the overall sound of the mix. Just place the Pi in the last insert slot of the mixer tracks and listen. Use any of the 64 groups to link instrument channels to further enhance your mix.
