Description: A line of plugins based on existing hardware products. It includes a compressor, equalizer, mic preamp, and a channel strip plug-in that combines all three.
First of all, there is the 7X-500 FET compressor, which Lindell says has its own take on the classic “1176 sound”. The PEX-500 is a Pultec-style EQ that delivers silky highs and punchy lows, while the 6X-500 emulates a mono / stereo channel transformer, plus a combined preamp and passive 2-band EQ.
