Description:
At its simplest level, the program is a single note command based chord maker. It also performs the rewind function. The plug-in itself does not create any sounds, but controls other plug-ins using MIDI.
However, the program is not that simple. Looking closely, you will find many interesting and well-thought-out features that can turn even primitive keyboard playing into a piece of music.
Among the patches of the Cthulhu’s Chords module there are Bach’s chorales (168 patches), as well as patches based on the works of Mozart, Schubert, Debussy, etc. You can also create chords yourself or edit existing ones.
Chords are categorized into Chord Slots, each of which can be assigned a key. There are 128 slots in total – one for each MIDI note number. You can preview the notes and create a chord using the virtual keyboard or on the panel above it. Chords can be copied and pasted, practiced.
Cthulhu’s Arpeggiator is ahead of the regular arpeggiators we’re used to. It offers quick and easy solutions for getting out of difficult situations and inspires non-standard actions.
