Description: Manic Compressor was designed from the beginning to be more than just a compressor. It was designed for parallel compression without requiring complex routing in your workstation. Even with 6 different compressor modes and comprehensive parallel routing settings, Manic Compressor uses an intuitive interface to be a more powerful compressor than you’ve ever seen before.
Parallel compression is a key component that has been used by top mixes for many years, but until now, it always requires complex routing and increased clutter in your projects to be able to use it on every track. Many compressors have a mixer knob for mixing the compressed signal with the direct signal, but we have found that this simply does not provide enough control to really make it easy to use parallel compression. With individual processed / dry faders, along with an intuitive yet powerful EQ section, it won’t take long to realize how much time you’ve wasted without using this compressor. After using Manic Compressor on our projects, we realized that we were missing a whole world that we didn’t even know existed.
6 different compressors.
Even with so many good compressors, we find it cumbersome to switch between different compressors with different settings, trying to find the exact match for your track. With Manic Compressor, you can quickly switch between 6 different compressors without a huge chain of settings. Since the Manic Compressor was designed from the ground up to be used in parallel, we were able to make some compressor modes that actually work with parallel compression.
Built for everyday use.
With its innovative design and Loudness function, this compressor was created for everyday use. Manic Compressor lets you create settings for maximum compression and then attenuate the signal with the unique Loudness knob, which softens compression artifacts, even under super load.
